My primary goal is to teach the fundamentals of guitar so that even if a student leaves my studio, and ten years later inspiration hits, they can pick up the instrument again and know how to best harness their technique and mind to apply themselves to learning.

When working with beginners young and old, I use a classical approach to form good habits. I also relish the opportunity to steer intermediate and advanced students in that direction because a classical education can provide the foundation to understand how music works and better enjoy playing.

My main mission is always to give students the tools they need to lead their own fulfilling journey through music, regardless of what kind of music they play - or if they play on classical, steel-stringed, electric guitar, or piano!
